剧情：驍勇善戰的秦朝大將軍蒙毅（成龍飾）受秦始皇所命，負責護送玉漱公主（金喜善飾）入秦爲妃，一路上彼此情愫暗生，可蒙毅還是選擇了效忠君主。秦始皇病危，蒙毅去拿長生不老藥並戰死沙場。而公主試藥成功，在秦王死後被禁在秦王陵中…… 幾千年後，夢中的神祕白衣女子纏繞考古學家Jack（成龍飾）多年，一次好友William（梁家輝飾）邀他一同前往印度探險，高僧告訴Jack他被一段前世緣分困擾，Jack來到古都，開始了尋夢之旅。Jack乘直升機到酈山上空，冒險躍入瀑布，情景一如夢境。但與此同時，卻有歹人一直尾隨。在秦王陵中又會有什麼情景？千古神話能夠延續嗎？
