剧情：音樂家趙黎明童年生活在北京一個寧靜的四合院中。他與同院的女孩蘇雨是好朋友。蘇雨的爺爺是一位教堂的管風琴琴師，他教小黎明學習音樂。不久蘇雨被父親接回南方，那年冬天，蘇爺爺離開人世。 幾年後，黎明進入音樂學院，開始了音樂生涯。蘇雨長大從南方到北京上大學，與兒時夥伴重逢，她同趙黎明、樸陽發生了一段感情糾葛，最終還是選擇了黎明。此時黎明創作的歌曲已在全國廣爲傳唱，深受人們歡迎。 不久，“文革”開始了，黎明下放陝北農村，他被陝北淳樸、粗獷的風土民情所打動，積累了豐厚的音樂素材。“文革”終於結束了，黎明的音樂走向輝煌。
