剧情：故事發生在20世紀70年代，新春伊始，青春男女紛紛走入新的學校。滿懷喜悅的筱村悅子（田中麗奈 飾）進入伊予東高中，她渴望加入划艇部，誰知這個學校卻沒有這個社團。性格倔強的女孩不甘失敗，她直接找到負責老師申訴，強烈要求成立一個女子划艇部。爲了趕在10月能順利參加新人戰比賽，悅子連拉帶拽找來了菊池多惠子（真野きりな 飾）、中崎敦子（清水真實 飾）、矢野利繪（葵若菜 飾）、中浦真由美（久積繪夢 飾），總算湊齊了一支五人隊伍。只不過以前全然沒有划艇經驗的女孩們，走入賽場的前路上有着無數的磨難和考驗等待着她們…… 本片根據敷村良子的原作改編。
